Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration
Keep A Clear Mind was selected by the Center for Substance Abuse Prevention (CSAP) as a CSAP Model Program. The agency had reviewed the research literature and found that Keep A Clear Mind was one of only a few drug education programs that had been rigorously evaluated and had produced positive results. CSAP is part of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMSHA).
National Registry of Evidence-Based Programs and Practices
After a few years SAMSHA decided to develop a National Registry of Evidence-Based Programs and Practices (NREPP). Keep A Clear Mind was initially named to NREPP because it was a CSAP Model Program. Later, NREPP decided to conduct a separate review to decide whether programs on the list should continue to have a place on NREPP and whether new programs should be added. We participated in the review and in 2007 we successfully completed the review process (that is what the attached certificate indicates).
